How Align handles your data, content, and account.

This page explains what Align collects, why it is used, how long it is kept, and the rules for using the chat, uploads, AI tools, paid phases, and account access.

Short version

Align is designed to collect only what the experience needs.

Phase 1 can begin without an account. Align stores a temporary lead ID so your answers, anchors, uploaded board photos, and generated blueprint can survive refreshes and be used if you continue into the paid phases. After unlock, your email becomes your username and your password is stored only as a secure hash.

Data we collect

Depending on how you use Align, we may collect:

  • Email address, account status, password hash, unsubscribe status, and email delivery logs.
  • Contact form messages, including the name, email address, and comment you submit.
  • Phase answers, chat messages, prompts, quick replies, anchors, target dates, and generated blueprint text.
  • Uploaded board photos, resized copies, image metadata, and generated AI image prompts/search keywords.
  • Payment or unlock records. When Stripe is added, Stripe may process checkout and payment identifiers.
  • Technical analytics such as IP address, approximate location if available, browser, device, referrer, UTM tags, pages visited, and timestamps.
  • Cookies/session IDs and visitor tokens used to keep your progress connected to the same browser.

How we use data

We use this information to run the Align experience: saving progress, generating AI responses, preparing the vision board and blueprint, sending requested emails, unlocking paid phases, responding to contact messages, preventing abuse, improving reliability, and preserving records needed for security, support, accounting, or legal obligations.

AI processing

Align sends relevant chat text and area context to AI model providers so the app can respond, extract anchors, generate image prompts, and write blueprint sections. Do not enter secrets, passwords, government IDs, sensitive medical details, or information about another person unless you have permission and a real need to include it.

AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. Align is a self-reflection and manifestation tool, not medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice.

Photos and uploads

Uploaded photos are stored for the lead/account that uploaded them and may be resized for performance. If you re-upload a photo for the same area, the old file may be replaced. You must only upload photos you own or are allowed to use.

Administrators may review uploaded files, prompts, chat text, account activity, and technical logs when needed for support, moderation, safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or abuse investigation.

Retention

If you do not enter an email, temporary lead data and uploaded photos may be removed after about 14 days of inactivity. If you enter an email for the blueprint but do not purchase/unlock, data may be removed after about 1 month of inactivity. Paid, completed, subscribed, security, payment, and legal records may be kept longer unless deletion is requested and no lawful reason requires retention.

Sharing and processors

Align does not sell your personal information. Data may be processed by hosting, database, email, analytics, payment, AI, and security providers as needed to operate the service. If you click links to external tools such as stock-photo or AI-image websites, those services have their own policies.

Your choices and rights

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your personal data. You can unsubscribe from follow-up emails using the unsubscribe link in an email. Transactional emails you request, such as sending your blueprint to yourself, may still be sent.

Acceptable use rules

You may not use Align to upload, write, request, generate, store, or distribute:

  • Illegal content or instructions for illegal activity.
  • Child sexual abuse material, sexual content involving minors, exploitation, grooming, or trafficking content. This is zero tolerance.
  • Pornography, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexualized private images, or explicit adult content.
  • Harassment, threats, hate, abuse, doxxing, or content targeting people based on protected traits.
  • Graphic violence, self-harm encouragement, scams, malware, credential theft, spam, scraping, or attempts to bypass security.
  • AI abuse, including prompt injection, attempts to extract system prompts, automated flooding, model misuse, or using outputs to mislead people.
  • Content you do not have the rights or permission to upload or use.

If you violate these rules, Align may remove content, block uploads or AI access, suspend or ban your account, delete your data, deny access to paid features where allowed, preserve evidence, or report illegal activity to appropriate authorities. Severe violations may result in immediate account termination.

Payment and account terms

Paid unlocks provide access to the remaining Align phases for the account or lead used at checkout. Development unlocks are test-only and do not represent a real payment. When Stripe is enabled, checkout and payment handling will be subject to Stripe's terms and privacy practices as well.

You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account. Align may change features, prices, or legal terms prospectively by updating this page.
